real deal. mostly just a novalty setup in my opionion. you can makethesame hp on single turbo way cheaper. But hey you can say you got twins, thats cool.

600hp is a novelty? i wouldn't do it myself, but it certainly has it's benefits. much faster spool so you don't get the massive lag that you get with big turbos. gt35r's and 60 trim turbos that will make the same power don't spool until 4000-4500 rpms, this set up is closer to 3k. that's a HUGE benefit there. dcr isn't going to just make a kit for the hell of it........

Its not a false part DCR does make it, just look at their web site, I also agree with PSI Chick, it just depends on what you want to do with your SRT, course that set up with two s3 turbos would just be sick but also just get a 60 trim or even a bigger turbo say from turbonetics use a GTK one and make more hp.

so put simply, one larger turbo gives you a higher max output of hp at higher RPMs (once it gets going), but the twin turbo wont spike as high at max power, but will be more steady power across the entire RPM range...
