SRT4 airbox removal
I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experience removing the srt 4 airbox. Its a little more complex than airboxes found on older model sport compacts. Anyone have any problems with it?
No pics here. But I can tell you that the quality of the entire car is well worth the $$,$$$. FAST is an understatement. I would recommend a 2004 srt 4 to anyone, especially if they really knew whatexactly its all about. Support yourAmericaI always say. Some people saydodge just released the next true American muscle car, I wouldn't disagree. The only thingI wasnt to keen on is the location of the turbo. It couldnt get anycloser to the firewall, which makes changing it a true pain in the ***.I think the scene would look a little like this...<IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0"> <IMG src=smileys/smiley18.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">. anyway thats further down the road. As far as the car is concerned, stock is better than good. Who needs a modified honda when atrue dodge beast is on the loose. Best deal around, for the $.
by the way, the electric blue pearl coat is gorgeous! whether its in the sun or under parking lot lights it stands out like a custom paint job! besides all that, the car throws you back in your seat!! kick ***
All of Dodges' previous turbo cars had the turbo in the back against the firewall as well.
Here is a few pictures of a blue one for you:

P.S. I already have those saved on my comp. <IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">

Im looking into the ram air intake that you can get at modernperformance and I was looking but I don't see any holes for the three sensors in the stock air box. what did you guys and girls do with those three sensors, because I just bumped one and my check engine light came on.</P>
Please post ASAP. because the intake I would like to get before the exhaust.</P>
The solenoids, you mean? 1,2, and 3? I have not looked at Moderns site lately, but most of the intakes have a barcket to bolt those to either the bottom of the battery tray or the intake tube itself. </P>

The one above is an AGP unit. I can't endorse any of them, I don't have one. I used their pic because it illustrates the point best. </P><edited><editID>glhs837</editID><editDate>38021.5301736111</editDate></edited>
