AHagen:
Hey all, im not Ahagen, im his younger brother, and today he was in a horrible accident in his 03 srt-4. Some jackass in a fast and the furious wanna be Civic kept messing with him and my brother decided to give it some gas. The civic cut in front of him on purpose when he knew he was about to get smoked and let off the gas forcing my brother to slam on the brakes causing him to spin out at about 75 making him do many 360's totaling the cars front end and well basically the car is done for. Sad to say this but my brothers car spun out into a construction area over the median and sent a worker that was doing his job to the hospital in critical condition only to die less than an hour later (i feel extremely bad for the worker and wish him to r.i.p.). Witnesses said that the other "Racer" was laughing as he drove away from the accident. im still unsure if the police have caught the ******* driving the car but i know they have his plates. Sad to say as of right now my brother is being charged of Vehicular Homicide and manslaughter and is facing up to 7 years in prison. Luckily he is alright and only suffered a few scratches and that he has no previous run in with the cops (except speeding tickets, but hey who doesnt have some of those in this car ;p ) anyways i just wanted to tell you all that this is complete bull**** and i hope the *** driving that civic dies a slow and painful death for what he has caused!

Road worker killed on U.S. 19

SPRING HILL - James Thivou was having problems with the compressor on his company truck.
So he asked his partner to hand him a tool.
"I said, 'Pass me up a screwdriver,'" said Thivou, 64, of Clearwater. "All I saw was a yellow flash."
He heard the screeching of brakes. Then he felt something hit the side of the truck. He never saw the yellow Dodge Neon hit his partner, but he feared the worst.
"I didn't see him," Thivou said Monday afternoon, choking back tears. "I knew he was standing there."
When he finally climbed off the road construction truck, his partner, a 50-year-old Largo man, was lying several yards away, behind the truck. A fellow construction worker ran to the 50-year-old man and gave him CPR.
Both men work for United Rentals Highway Technologies, a Clearwater company subcontracted by the Florida Department of Transportation.
Authorities said the stricken highway worker, whose name is being withheld because next of kin had not been notified, died Monday afternoon from his injuries.
The canary yellow sports car that struck him as he and Thivou were re-striping a turn lane on U.S. 19 was driven by Aaron Hagen, 25, of 12125 Linden Drive, Spring Hill. He was later charged with vehicular homicide and taken to the Hernando County Jail where bail had not been set late Monday evening.
Michael Brandon, 27, of Land O' Lakes, said he was driving to Citrus County for work when he stopped to get lunch at Sonny's barbeque restaurant on U.S. 19. As he pulled out of Sonny's and motored southbound toward Pasco County, he saw cars pull behind him. They were whipping in and out of traffic and changing lanes as they sped along the six-lane highway.
"They were drag racing," Brandon said.
Minutes later after they passed him driving at a high speeds, he saw debris fly up in the air in front of him.
Authorities said Hagen and another car were racing on U.S. 19 around 2 p.m., heading south when Hagen lost control of the Dodge Neon in front of Chili's restaurant near the intersection of Windward Boulevard and U.S. 19, also known as Commercial Way. The car spun around, sliding across the median of U.S. 19, according to Trooper Larry Coggins of the Florida Highway Patrol. Hagen later admitted to police that he had been drag racing with another car, Coggins said.
As it slid across the median, the car hit the Largo man as he was standing next to the construction truck.
The second car that was racing with Hagen kept going southbound, the FHP said.
Coggins said the agency has several leads on the driver of the second vehicle, but did not yet want to give a description of the vehicle since the investigation is ongoing.
Hernando Today is withholding a description of the vehicle at the request of the FHP.
The Largo highway worker was taken to Oak Hill Hospital, where he later died of his injuries, authorities said.
Southbound U.S. 19 was closed for about two hours while the patrol investigated the crash.
Thivou, who had just seen his co-worker struck, walked around the wreckage of the Doge Neon that had been torn nearly in two. One part of the car slid across the highway and landed about 100 feet away, near the parking lot of Chili's.
"I'm retiring at the end of this month," Thivou said. "It may be sooner."
Next time someone thinks about street racing, remember this. The sad thing is that this happens many times each and every day. Imagine having to live with knowing you killed an innocent person, maybe a father or mother....not to mention the hell you will go through with criminal charges and probably civil suits......
.....Suddenly, beating that Mustang at the next light just doesn't seem so important as the rest of your life does.......[:'(]

This IS real, I drive a Mag RT, I went to the body shop and saw my wife's Accord EX today, it IS totaled. This was possibly a result of road rage, she avoided a ricer and rear ended a van at 50+!!
Have fun and rip it up, but only when it's safe!!

Save it for the track. Thats my new motto. I drove like an *******, we all have. But I paid for it, and I'm lucky it wasn't with my life, or someone else's.
Man another dummy behind the wheel. And not the guy driving the car that didnt wreck. And blamming the other guy cause he hit the brakes because he was loosing and you went into a four wheel slide across three lanes of traffic, hitting a guy, who later died, trying to work on the road's we drive on everyday...guess you missed the man at work sighn also...... They were whipping in and out of traffic and changing lanes as they sped along the six-lane highway.....think that says it all...Our cars have ABS so no way in hell can hitting the brakes cause you to go into a skid...but changing lanes at 70+ mph sure as hell can...all the car mags posted nearly the same solam tests..around 72mph anything faster the rear end spun around.....if that was my dad think i would be trying to get throwed in the same jail for some revenge....and all this other guy bull****...a civic is history by 3rd gear, thats shifting from 2nd to 3rd, not the top of 3rd..should have let him do his ricer fly buy and shot him the bird on the way by...works for me...i dont keep racing someone after i beat them once...and i never, ever raced on a crowed street in my whole driving life, not one time...thats why there is industrial areas with long deserted streets and no one around but some friends and who your racing..not mom with groceries and kids in the back seat of a mini van you buzzed at 100+...the part that sucks...someone died because your brother was stupid. I would hate to look myself in the mirror if i did something like that...second he gave national free coverage of our car...not the Neon, but the Neon SRT-4...sure some insurance exec saw that on the 6 o'clock news...And another thing....accident is when something happens that no one could control...being stupid is no accident....But at least he is there instead of Texas, we would give you 20 fine years of hard out door work.
