I just got my Mopar BOV Plate for Christmas. Looking forward to installing it here in a couple of days. One quick question though, with the sealant, do you put some on both sides of the plate? Don't want to gunk up anything I don't need to.
No. Your best bet is to just apply it to the gasket on both sides, these are the ONLY surfaces that need it. The gasket goes between the Mopar BOV plate and the turbo housing. Nothing goes on the other side between the Mopar BOV plate and the purge valve.
It is cool that you got your BOV for christmas. I am hoping to get one when i return from afghanistan here. Also, you all posted in here about your $20 OCC where did you get that from...the only place i really know where to shop is turboneonstore.com and the OCCs were not cheep there. Are there better sites/stores to shop at if so where?

RE: Mopar BOV
The $20 OCC is not made as a OCC. It's actually an air compressor filter made by Campbell Hausfeld with some hose from your nearby auto parts store and a few other parts....there's a complete listing of parts and numbers on earlier threads on this subject here on DF as well as srtforums....
