High Octane Mode
I'll have to either A. get some Torco before I head to the track. or B. Mix some race gas with the fuel I already have when I head up to NED. I've heard of people running Torco and RG without having S2, and seeing results. This true? If you guys don't know, I'll have to wait until NED opens, and figure it out for myself By running with and without the above.

Unless you are playing with boost control, no gains to be had. You could mix RG and Torco, but the whole point of the Torco is to replace the RG. If you can get RG, go ahead and use it.
Well they have it up at NED (New England Dragway). So I figured if I could gain even a little by it, I might put some in the tank. But if theres no gain by it not having a toys set up or playing with boost (which I'm not yet) then I won't bother.

Don't bother with Race fuel or booster unless you have Stage 2 or upped your boost with any stage. My car was fine on pump 93 stock, and seemed ok
on that with Stage 1. I bought some VP 109 unleaded, six bucks a gallon, when the car was stock made no difference that I could feel. I have not tried the 109 since I started Mod's.

stage 2 will give you the most benefit from high octane gas. many people with stage 1 or 0 have tried to use it, and they have actually seen worse times from their cars with it than running pump gas. the stock and stage 1 computers can't compensate for the high octane like s2 ecu can and adjust the timing. if you are using stage 1 or 0 with a piggy back and big turbo then it is definetly worth it to use, but stock turbos seem to be hurt by the use of it. the ecu will pull timing and fuel to compensate for the higher octane. a piggy back will take the ecu out of the picture and the programing of it will alow you to benefit then.
torco can be bought online directly from torco for $70 shipped a case (6 cans). that guy paying $25 a can is getting ripped off big time! it's great stuff because you only have to use enough for how much gas is in your tank. only have half a tank of gas, use half a can. so one can can get you two trips to the track. if you are running a race pipe you can even use the leaded torco in a pinch. it works really well too. i put it in when i'm about 10 miles from the track and then do some wot runs on the highway to get it mixed in properly. by the time i get to the track, it's good to go. i've never been kicked out of HOM using torco.

Like I said, I didn't notice any difference with the 109, but the car was stock at that time. I have not used it since modifications. It would be interesting to see how the car reacts to it now. Stage two will let you run more advance, but in theory, the stock PCM will too with good gas, just not as much. I believe 93 is fine with stage two as long as you keep the toys off. As for some people running super when the car does not need it, it used to cause deposits in the chambers. I think they fixed that additive though. My truck get better gas mileage on 87 than it does on 93, Good example of not needing super. Question for everyone, ever try 87 in your SRT????
