Default aftermarket exhaust

I was just wondering if the exhaust on the srt4 will still pop and backfire once you replace it with an aftermarket catback? Also, for you 2005 owners, does your srt4's exhaust backfire? When I rode in one at the dealer i didn't hear any popping or backfiring(although the guy didn't get on it). I hope dodge didn't change it because i love the way those "burbles" sound.
Thanks

You want pops and gurgles? Try Stage 1 with a Mopar/Borla exhaust!!!! And my drive home everyday is almost ALL DOWNHILL!!!!
Gotta love it!!!!!!!![sm=smiley20.gif]

As long as you don't get one of the exhausts that has a muffler you'll be fine and have all that you want and more, but if you get one that contains a muffler it's all over, no more great sounds like that.

i have mopar/borla cat back and it sounds like a good healthy V6 and when you downshift its loud and gets attention on the highway, and does pop sometimes.

Same here and I like it. Now I just need to replace everything forward of the Mopar cat-back exhaust.

My 04 R/T has the o/e muffler on it, and when you roll down the hill in front of my house, it pops and girgles all of the way down the hill!!!!

Not as loud as you'r un restricted exhaust, but it deffinatly pops!!!
