flamingpinhead: Oh absolutely. They look so terrible but I've never felt so safe in the snow. The tires were Kelly Wintermarks, and they really rocked. We got quite a bit of snow this year compared to the past couple, so Im really pleased that I bought them.srt4ever: Thanks hun! I hope so too, I'm gonna head back outside and try to figure out what the hell happened with the interior pieces. Sand them back down and start over.

Thanks guys!!Today wasn't all that productive either. I repainted the HVAC piece, painted the CD Changer bezel, and the instrument cluster piece. I plan on wetsanding and re-clearing them to get them smooth as glass when its a bit warmer outside, but I put them in for the time being to see how it would look. Here's what happened yesterday. Even though the surface was properly sanded and prepped, the piece (which I bought from a junkyard) was saturated in a silicone substance, so the paint fisheyed and refused to adhere:So today I re-sanded everything and re-prepped it. Then proceeded to paint them:Its really tough to capture the gloss level in these, so I took a comparison picture between the two. The one on the left is the old one, where the HVAC sticker bubbled (my main reason for doing this) and its a matte clear (my secondary reason). The circles for the ***** were also left black on this one. There are a couple spots that have paint on them on the HVAC sticker, but thats nothing that a bit of reducer can't handle. And in the car:Here's the reason I needed new hoodpins, the mopar ones rusted after ONE day on the car:So I ordered stainless ones, same style from FixThisRide.com for $15 bucks. I also ordered the new hood today, here's one of the many reasons why I need a new one:

Not too much is happening these past few days. My rims were supposed to be in three days ago, and they aren't. The tires are at the shop though. They told me five days from the 18th, and now they're saying they won't be here until the 1st. Oh well. When they show up I'll test fit one then if the 235s fit on the front, I'll take them home.Last night I drove up to Mass to pick up another stock grille for the new bumper. Today the fog lights came in, just have to pick up H3 3000k bulbs. I already have the rockblocker tinted film for them too, here they are:
Nothing much will be happening this weekend....I just had all four wisdom teeth pulled today....and oh my god the pain. I may try to put the film on them, and may try to put the grille in, but I'm not supposed to do anything at all.I'll update this in a few days I forgot to add that I picked up another Viper oil cap. It doesn't say Viper on it, but it looks much better than the yellow/black one that goes with NOTHING in my engine bay.

Thanks hun! I'm working on it. Today I might try to put the rockblocker on the new fogs. I had my wisdom teeth out Friday but they really did a number on me, so I've been stuck home for four days now....unable to do anything. Not that there is much I could do, but I could get some stuff done. Maybe I'll put the grille in the new bumper too. We'll see how today goes. [>:] srt4ever: there will definitely be a full photoshoot when I'm done. But for now piecemeal photos are all I can offer. I hope it will be done in a few weeks time. I'm waiting on the headlights. I can't install anything in the front end until I install the headlights and new hoodpin pieces. The new hoodpin shafts have to go first. Followed by the headlights. Then I can install the HID kit for the foglights. My guy soldered me a relay wiring harness, he rocks (I'm terrible at soldering I will admit it). After all that is installed I can put the bumper on the car (after I clean out the IC). But its all riding on the damned headlights. *sigh*My wiring harness: Oh yeah and I ordered the H3 3000k Bulbs today for the fogs
