It was just a "informative comment" for everyone...not trying to prove anyone wrong.

Plus being a "foriegner" and new...I just want everyone who talks to me to know I am a straight forward guy...I'm not going to lie or sugar coat...that doesn't help anyone. If I am wrong I will more than admit it..but I usually keep my mouth shut unless I have facts to back up what I am saying.

Interesting....my trap speeds in the 1/4 are faster than what is indicated on my speedo by 1-2mph. Is this typical?

Oh, fastest trap in the 1320 is 98, overall 125-130.

 

Ive had the guts to hit 160mph in my Vette.
Taken my SRT-4 to 135mph. She held it well and had lots of go still. She sees 120mph on occasion when i feel the need for some high speed.

 

well im only 15 so i cant see what my car can do but i was w/ one of my friends in his 06 GTO (that spoiled little brat) and we hit 140 in no time at all and we had 3/4 of a mile stretch of road. and he isnt the best shifter in the world i think we could have hit 150 or so if he was a better shifter.

 

160 is rediculously fast. Its scary. Ive hit it twice (still had more peddle to go / just not the *****) - both times i had a vice grip on the stearing wheel. There is no screwing up at that speed. The smallest stearing adjustment is a big one.

If your gona do it on a public road **(not recommended/or endorsing/very dangerous for you and everyone else)** be sure its very flat/smooth/Strait/DRY (at that speed it will be rough) and be sure there is NO traffic...... morons dont look when they go to change lanes. One thing my parents tought me-----

I Allways watch the drivers around me. I can predict what they are gona do 90% of the time. Its kept me outa many accidents / fender benders.

and a week before I left Italy....160+ .....but now back in states....speed limit only!!!!! Cops in VA are SNEAKY.......think since I have been back in states.....80mph at the most getting onto parkway.....and all the Ricers (FART CANS!!!! [sm=lol.gif] FART CANS!!!!!)......constantly revving next to me....first couple times downshifted and took off [sm=escape.gif]..(to about 80mph ONLY)..and then let off....and they catch up and rev again but don't follow up....now I just laugh/smile and turn the radio up......

 

Oh yeah its funny when that happens. The lil ricer boyz w/ their fart cans reving that Ear pierceing Weed wacker sound. God it hurts... not to mention sounds like SH*T. I love owning them. Im sure ill find one one day that will have something.... but untill that day..... No respect from the SRT-4.

 

I've got an in-car video of a SRT-4 pegging at 160 mph with sound......pretty impressive!!
