what do you all think the best exhaust for the SRT would have to be?ive never heard an srt with an aftermarket exhaust, personally i think stock sounds amazing, i cant imagine how a 2.5-3 inch pipe would sound!

You don't need a 3 inch pipe unless your modding your engine to put out at least 325 hp....the Mopar/Borla system is very well made, bolts right on and costs less than some of the others (around $330). It's louder and deeper sounding than stock, especially running the gears out in 2nd and 3rd....

i have a 3" o2 housing and dp with the 2.5" borla. i am upgrading to a custom 3" soon. the 2.5" is nice, souds good and will improve performance a lot. it makes the car sound deeper.

The Mopar/Borla is nice, it keeps the stock sound only it's deeper and a little louder.

Hello,

I will bulit my own exhaust next few weeks.

It will be complete 3 inches with 3 inch O2 housing, 3 inch downpipe, 200 cpi metalwave catalytic
converter and a dynomax one in two 3 inch muffler.

Hope it will be a little quieter than stock with the 200 cpi cata. and makes more power.

I will tell hoe it is.

Peter

I was originally going to get a 3" exhaust, but after reading up on it I went with the 2.5 Mopar/Borla since I didn't plan on doing enough to require it.
