Joined the SRT Family!!!!! BUT got a few questions please help...
^^i bought it through a private party sale.
I'm gettin closer to thinkin that it is indeed a leak in the power steering somewhere (hopefully an easy fix). I drove the car to work less than a mile away with quite a few turns and it dripped very little. I took it back home and drove my other car and when I checked it this morning there was no leak in the driveway at all. Before I would see a leak no matter where I drove it.
My conclusion is Low powersteering fluid and no leak means that it probablyhas nothing to leak any more. Make sense or am I an idiot? lol
LilSparkplug- really nice car, my gf wants one like that now lol. So both lines are for the power steering? Is there a difference between ATF and ATF+4? When do I know that it's topped off, don't want to overfill.
Thanks a lot to everyone that has contributed to narrowing down my prob so far.

O i think I forgot to mention that when they were unloading my car from the trailer they brought it on, my friend and I saw it snag a bit in the area of those lines. We checked the car up and down right when it was unloaded and didn't see a leak anywhere. It was when the car was actually driven that the leak showed up.
When the system was pressurized is probably when the leak started to occur. I wouldn't be surprised if that "snag" broke the powersteering cooler and thats why its leaking. Yes both lines are for that, one to the cooler and one from the cooler. Well I'll know for sure hopefully what it is tomorrow morning the leak came back with a vengeance, so I had it towed to my mechanic. I'm thinking it's not the power steering anymore (see pics)
. Any ideas? The pics of the droplet is from the left side of the tranny (if looking at the car from front)

The hose on the left side of the car (Driver's Side) is a power steering line...We just replaced the power steering cooler on a 2005. The line on the inside (Block Side) i believe may be a a/c line. Dont take my word for it because i really didnt pay attention to that line when underneath the car. And yes can use ATF to fill the P/S reservoir as long as it is Mercron 5.
It was a bad speed sensor that was causing the leak. It was tranny fluid that was leaking. The car is now fixed and it runs like a champ!
^as am i. I'll be doing an oil change today for the first time on my srt. I have been reading and I know everyone has a different preference. I personally would like to go Mobil1 Full synthetic. That's safe to run even though my car has the 50 trim right? Also I was wondering where the heck the coolant is supposed to be. Everything was changed around due to the AGP 50 trim kit.
