2 reasons - 1. because the lower bolt has a habbit of backing out if it's not installed correctly, and i would venture to guess that at least 50% of people don't do it properly. when the bolt backs out the mount can then move, which causes the same issues as seen next.... 2. people with this issue have noticed it mainly with the stock mounts, not aftermarket. the stock mounts are too flexible to handle the power of this car, and as such they bend, a lot. so when they flex they hit into the oil pan. a solid mount will actually prevent this from happening.
this has been a major issue on my car, by lower mount is comepltly torn apart. i'm waiting on a set of dogbones from psi-fi to fix it at the moment.

So you dont think there is much Difference in the 2 mounts the dog bone is about 70 cheaper?
