Christ....can my luck be any worse??? I JUST got my baby back, like...not even TWO weeks ago...and this happens *cries* Late last night, taking a friend home in downtown providence, RI in University Heights...an evil pothole that WASN'T FIXED, ate my car up completely. I went back to take a picture of it, but it had already been filled it. Had to be at least a foot deep....at least. Damn plows rip up all the patches in the road. *sigh* So I think I may have subframe damage. I'm gonna have Paul drive it tomorrow and check for sure. But here's what it looks like now:

Me too, I took it to the body shop today to have it checked out. He said something about the engine crank case/engine case....and subframe damage, and something to do with the lower control arm. But can't be 100% sure without jacking it up and taking the wheel off [:'(]. I have horrid luck....HORRID luck...with left front suspensions, and DODGE vehicles!

You know, I've been WICKED careful (New England thing lol "wicked") since I got the car back. Its barely seen boost (only when I'm getting on the highway and need it) I've been driving the speed limit. And I had just went through an intersectiona and took it easy so I wouldn't bottom out, then I went up that hill and had JUST shifted into second, and BAM! Omg...worst noise ever. Almost the same noise as the night of my accident. []

Thankfully the rim and tire are okay, but my body man said that the reason its damaged so bad is because I was going so slow. If I was going faster my tire would've skimmed over the top of the pothole, but because I was going slow, it allowed for my tire to fall COMPLETELY into the hole...and push it back. [:@]

I'll know more about exactly what happened tomorrow, and how I'm going to fix it, and if its even safe to drive on. [&o]

 

Is that a city or state road? Maybe you can call them about fixing the car? Maybe it happened to someone else and they reported it and thats why it was fixed so fast. I would look into it. That way your Insu company doesnt put a hit out on you. Good luck i think you need some. You know i mean that in the nicest way!!!

 

I know hunn!! City road, Providence, the capital of RI. Yeah right cause the whole state is like a capital to other big states.

I talked to my lawyer she told me who to call, ill get on that tomorrow. *sigh* Yeah I do need luck, and ALOT of it [&o]

Sorry to hear about your accidents.
Within having a week of my car I had a big scratch about an 1/8th in wide and down to the pain about 2 to 3 feet long on my rear door and fender. Wanted to hurt somebody [:'(]

 

i feel for you...my car is pinned and my town is definitely full of potholes, uneven roads, and annoying as hell train tracks. everywhere i go, i'm constantly avoiding potholes, to get into my driveway i have to baby it or i'll scratch and at the tracks anyone with any kind of drop has to put their cars into neutral and slow-roll over it
