I was looking at this shift **** on modern performance and was wondering if any of you guys have it or have had any experience with it. It looks like a good shift **** to me. I was looking for another shift **** after hearing the horror stories of the srt-4's shift **** coming off while shifting. It says that it's a pretty secure fit. Just wondering if you guys know anything about it. Thanks

The silver polished one...with i think six or seven allen head screws holdingit on...buy it its worth the money..and you will love it, if you have ever done a powershift and ended up with the stock cheap plastic ball in your hand.

I have it. It gets dirty easy. It's hard to clean. It gets too cold to hold in the winter.

 

50 bucks for a shift **** is a bit much.....my factory **** is just fine, if it ever comes off, $2 worth of epoxy
will cure that problem.

 

what about the stock boot, will it fit nicely?

 

No i don't have it but know a few that do have it, i eyeball it every time im at modernperformance, looks real sweet up close....but i have way to much fun having the stock one pop off, kinda used to it now been awhile since i poped it off, best thing is to let it hit the floor and shift with out it...just hope your not on the 1st to 2nd shift..winds up fast.

 

Idiot, not knocking Mopar, but a good **** is very key for your 9 second car. If you can hit 9's with a shift **** that falls off you have to be the best driver in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I have to say is put up ( the pics ) or shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
