Headlights
I have heard bad things about APC bulbs and most of the blue ones suck in the rain and most of the articles I have read say they don't put out as much light anytime. I have heard that the APC's look nice but are really bad when it comes to light output but I personally haven't used them. I have tried Eurolite Super Plasma's and Farenheit Super Whites in my Honda Accord. The Eurolites were definately brighter than stock and maybe a hint of purple or blue but mostly just a really bright white. They were better than stock like I said but after about 2 months they burnt out. One did and shortly after the other side had. I got a replacement set under warrenty thinking maybe I just had gotten a bad set and sure enough the second set burnt out in about the same timeframe. I also have them as my highbeams which are differnt bulbs and they have lasted over 2 years and still working *knock on wood* but the low beams kept burning out. I currently have the Farenhiets and they may have a hint of yellow during the day but not at night at night they are pure white not a lot of blue but really bright white and during the day you can see a slight bit of yellow from angles which you can with anybulb I have seen. They are brighter than stock and white and you can see a little better than stock unlike most of the blue bulbs. I would reccomend these. I have also heard great things about the Silverstars. HID's are the way to go if you have a few hundred to spend on lights. They are a lot better they just cost a fortune. Also keep the same wattage as your stock headlights as going with higher wattage bulbs will melt your wiring if you don't upgrade it and I have read some reports of melting the housings also.
I think I will be doing the Sylvannia thing toooooo.. Wal-Mart right? i got aproblem with my brights i thinik....when i pull back on the stick they get bright as hell and then when they "lock in" to bright, they seem to go dimmer than the "midway point" of pulling back on the brights lever. anyone else have this same problem? is it a problem?
