you'll probably need more than that. 1/2" or so. a 3mm is needed for a +42 that rubs.

hmm well ill see.. like i said there for a STI but i got a good deal on them.. they look like motegi db6 i think there called..but i can make a spacer thats no big deal as long as they fit there 5x100 but i heard some people where having truoble with the subi type rims

I was told by someone here (Amy) that the design of the wheel spokes or hub area will be the factor requiring spacers. I believe this is true because I have seen two different wheels (designs) with the same offset, and only one required spacers.

yes, that is true. my last set of rims were a +42mm and needed a 3mm spacer. my current rims also have a +42mm offset and do not require spacers. spoke design plays a huge role in determining fit. but a +48 is beyond the questionable range of fitment.

alrite no big deal ill get like a 1/2 spacer.. just hope there enough lug to grab after.

i just got a email from tire rack and they said i can run a 48mm offset no problem! well see!

The caliper clearance is a pain in the rear. I orderd two different sets of wheels before I got a correct fit. Don't assume anything will fit until you put the wheel on and spin it. BTW, I have Excel Daytonas 18x7.5, 40mm offset going on as soon as my new tires get here. I'll post them when they're on.

I ordered a set of Axis reverb today with a 40mm offset, so we will see when they get here if I need spacers ^^

i was wondering can a wheel with a 40mm offset six 17x8 fit on a srt 4 if so what size tire would anyone recommend
