I have the Mopar STS and I ripped the shift **** without a problem. It was right after I put in my motor mount inserts so I was hot rodding it. The **** comes off pretty easy. I have a MOMO one now that has screws and I whoop on that one and it doesn't budge.

In that case, DEFINITELY, don't let your father drive the car. Nothing terrifies me more than the thought of MY father getting behind the wheel of my car.[sm=noooo.gif]

The **** doesn't turn, it's held on with a metal clip and is designed to be pulled straight up and off. This is why so many are having problems with them coming off when they are shifting, usually when they are shifting hard and fast.
I shift hard and fast, sometimes, but now that I think about it, i pull back when going into 2,4 gears and push when going to 3,5. anyhooo, thanks for the tip. I think i might get a carbon fiber **** one of these days and now i know how to remove the stocker.

LoL I did this when I was test driving it but that was because I had the damn seat straight up instead of layed more back. Fixed the problem as I was not pulling straight up when I shifted into 2nd and 4th.
