See, boost gets applied to both side. So no matter how much pressure is on the turbo side, there is that much PLUS the spring pressure.
10psi + 1lb spring will always hold against 10 psi
20psi + 1lb spring will always hold against 20psi
And don't worry about the spring wearing out. I tested my stocker at 45K and it matched the one with only 5K that I had tested previously.
And I have to disagree about spike, guys. Back when I was S2, I hit and held my boost level til the redline droppoff. Summer, 16.5-17, winter 15-16. Just went and held. Stage 3 acts the same. Hit 20 and stick.
My stage 2 spikes past 20, and falls to 16 by redline. But I have some theories as to why...
Either way, as far as Mopar BOV, listen to people who aren't trying to sell you anything, or people who haven't spent $400 on hard pipes and an aftermarket BOV. No need to repeat anything glhs637 said, but that information came from SRT. One of the guys posted it on srtforums.com. I copied and pasted it, so I have it. Basically, moving to another BOV is a downgrade.
