Limited Production???
Same here with washing it. It has been raining for it seems like weeks now and I try to clean my srt at least every other day, I cannot wait for summer and GOOD weather. I'll take heat any day.
Also, I am not at all bad mouthing mitsubishi, I am very impressed with their evo right now, but dodge has been paired with them since the late 80's right? so by now shouldn't dodge know what to do with turbos and four cylinders??? dodge builds the hemi and viper without help from any other car manufacturer (other than Shelby with the viper), why can they not build their own stuff for little engines and even more so surpass other car manufacturers.

I'm with you on that one. I believe that Chrysler Corperation needs to come back, no more Daimler, Mitsubishi or Hyundai. They also need to be built in America, by Americans and using American made and sourced parts.
They have been dealing with mitsubishi since the early 80's and I believe even the late 70's. Look at the early-mid 80's Chrysler Conquest TSI's, they are nothing more than rebadged mitsubishi Starions. I would have to check my books, but I think the late 70's Dodge Challengers were mitsu powered.
The SRT-4's are indeed collector cars, limited production cars with this level of performance, it's guaranteed. My Roadrunner cost around $4,000-$4,500 brand new. It's current value is in the $32,000(base model w/383)-$value inestimateable(optioned w/426 Hemi). That is almost 10 times the price paid, so at $21,000 now, imagine what the SRT-4 will be valued at in 30 years. [sm=smiley3.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

That is right with the Challengers. I had fogotten about that, but by the late 70's, it was just like the conquest. It wasn't really a Challenger anymore, it was a Mitsubish with a Dodge badge on it.
Great thinking on America too. If it is a made in U.S.A. car, It should be MADE IN AMERICA...

Ditto with the weather here...and they're calling for another week of the same...however, I was stationed in some places that had REALLY BAD winters (Malmstrom AFB, Montana and Hahn Air Base, Germany) so I guess overall, rain isn't too bad...at least they don't put salt on the roads here!
I saved my window sticker from when I bought my SRT-4 in December and it says "U.S./Canadian Parts Content: 84%". I would hate to see what the figure would be if they left off the "Canadian" portion of it....

well techniquely the SRT-4s are in limited production right now. so it won't be that much different in 2 years or when ever that change is going to take place. So dodge is giving Mitsu. the Dakota and in return we a Lancer, oh boy. Does that seem like a fair trade?
vHiEpMeIr, cool name. I think that it is great that they are in limioted production. that means that if you have one you know that there aren't going to be that many more of them. Just like your SRT-10 ram. do you want everyone to have one, or just a few people?
