Limited Production???

Yeah, having a car that a lot of people have never seen is cool with all the stares and double-takes (except for the cops). Until I saw mine at the dealer when I bought it 3 months ago, I had never seen one in person. As of today, I STILL haven't seen another SRT-4 around here (I DID spot a Rolls-Royce today though).
yeah I don't see to many around my part of town but I do see them every now and then, since I do live in the 5th largest city -- Phoenix, just as a few months ago, no current census though.
Umm yeah the New 2005 Dakota will be released sometime this year, here check out this link: http://www.dodge.com/autoshow/2005_d...pe=promo1_link also the Neon isn't going anywhere, think of that change more like the new Durango, slightly bigger and completely new, not the same frame all new sheet metal and so on....

Thats why I have the car that I do, performance first and foremost then rarity. I only see other '71 Roadrunners at the large all Mopar shows, I do local cruises and car shows and last year there were no other Roadrunners of any year at any of the shows. I only know of where there is one other Shelby Z Daytona, but I only see one of them on the road every 6-10 months and it's probably that one. I see a Neon R/T once about every 2-3 months.[sm=smiley2.gif]

Yeah, I sold my RoadRunner and my GTX in 1986 when the Air Force shipped me from Montana to Texas. I bought a Shelby Z Daytona upon arrival, but later traded it in for a '87 Mustang GT. I don't want to think of how much $$$ I threw away because of military required moves...remember the G.I.'s TODAY, they're going thru the same thing as well as getting their butts shot off.

Forgot to add that when I went to the dealer to shop for a vehicle, I had two vehicles in mind...a Dodge Ram Hemi Pickup and a SRT-4. After seeing acres and acres of the Dodge Ram's, it only took the sweet sound of the exhaust of the SRT-4 to win me over. The fact that they had only 2 in stock sealed the deal. No more messing with the stock market and paying capital gains taxes for me!![sm=smiley36.gif]
The performance and those perfect seats did it for me. I'll probably be getting one next year, it will be my first brand new car.[sm=smiley17.gif] I would rather have a 2 door with a V8 and RWD, but apparently Chrysler isn't going to ***** up and make one.[sm=smiley7.gif]
Changed your mind about bolting up a SRT-4 motor to a "normal" Neon?[sm=smiley2.gif]
Seriously, if you DO get one, it'll be the best 20K you'll spend...it's one of the two top cars I've owned in 35 years, and one of the best-kept secrets on the street (although word is leaking out).[&:]

Well, my R/T has developed an oil leak on the back of the motor and it's not the valve cover. If it is the oil pressure sending unit, then I'll fix it good as new, but if it's anything else other than that, then I'm off to get an SRT-4 and use the R/T as a trade in. [sm=smiley4.gif]I love the R/T, but I refuse to put money into it like I did my Shelby Z.[sm=smiley7.gif]
