Geez Amy, you were all over that one! LOL It cracks me up reading this. If I had a dime for everytime they say "burned pistons, head gaskets, etc" I'd have enough $ to buy an SRT10! Notice how they CAREFULLY talk about the Mopar upgrades. Like what we do here is any different? I especially like the section regarding the three inch exhaust. They state "usually all it does is make noise". How about that 355hp stage three.....isn't there a note saying those figuires were obtained with a three inch exhaust? Other than oil pans, are there really any huge issues out there??? Besides stupidity??? Oh yes, I forgot about Andy too, sorry.

i think my favorite part of the whole document is in regards to the exhaust as well "use of a 3" exhaust can cause lean fueling issues such as burned pistons or exhaust turbine damage...." lol they are so full of crap. the stage 3 numbers according to mopar are with the mopar exhaust. so 2.5" is ok and even recommended, but 3" leads to burned pistons.

if you look at the pictures too, it's obvious where they got them from. the fmic is psi-fi, the cai picture is actually smoger's car and the ipp cai, the wga and turbo upgrade are direct from agp, the exhaust system is exhaust depot, and the piggy back is psi-fi. good to see that at least dcx used good examples of products!!! haha

reading that it looks like dodge is looking for any excuse to void a warranty.

Exactly my point. Yes, if I'm stupid enough to run 18psi with stock injectors, maby I should pay for the repair. But mod's done properly don't necessarly void your warranty. AND THEY HAVE TO PROVE WHAT YOU DID CAUSED ABNORMAL FAILURE. It is not legal in many states for them to just say, "no warranty for you". If anyone tried to say a cold air intake would void your warranty, it's bullcrap. PSIChick states a good point about the exhaust. In short, DCX built a performance car. People will modify them, just don't assume all modifications are harmfull.[sm=signs006.gif]

I like the part at the top that says "Not to be distributed outside DaimlerChrysler"
