okay looking in to getting an srt-4 but what is going to cost me to get up to 500hp? only reason i ask is because we just got my wife an 03 svt cobra and i just finnished up the pulley and exhaust and programmer and i need to be faster then her.[:@] fig i have the weight for sure and can take her with upgrades, but whats it going to cost. or should i just get me a svt also? i know her in alb nm their is a neon running around making 500hp at sea level.

 

You should not need 500 hp to get the job done! A stage 2 with toys should do the trick. Retail on that is between $1400-$1500 plus install.

sorry for this question but, looking at all these stages 1-3 i see new inj,pcm. do u need to but these one after the other or can i just get 3 right away?

 

you can just get s3 right away.

 

I cant see how a car with 225 as a max tire size will ever need 500 hp. You cant be serious. if you want something that smokes that cobra you had best be looking into a rwd/awd platform that can hook up. Take the srt-4 for what it is, a fun little low buck factory hot rod that will still be under warranty as your wife drives it while you are waiting for that new 9" currie rearend for the ford. from what I understand 500hp is the limit for the irs when running dr's at the track. The cobras are very nice, btw, I have wanted one ever since the 4 valve moter came out. I still bleed blue as I scrape my knuckles on my 66 notch.

 

you will need more than that... stage 2 wont do it.

 

stg 3 should be suffice for any sain person.
