Neither the Evo or STI are jokes. I don't think the SRT4 is a joke either. All 3 are pretty damn quick from the factory. The STI and Evo of course have their advantages because of the AWD.

 

Get the latest Car and Driver mag and look at the long term test on the EVO. It did not hold up very well. Plus, its almost ten grand more than the SRT.

Plus it ugly! (just my opinion)

 

i have never really liked any sti. i was in japan for two and half years and that is where i really started to like the evo but you know once that move came out with this evo doing crazy **** with like $40,000 in the car then all the kidz wanted it b/c it was cool. but the ones i really like you can't get over here in america now those are some nice cars the evo 5 is my favorite. Anyway i still love my srt and think she is just the greatest for what she is and turbo 4 that looks good and not everyone has one where i'm at. there are two srt and four evos, and two sti on my base and i'm on a small base. i asked on of the evo guys if he wanted to race just to see what it would do and he said he doesn't race it he just wants to have b/c it's a cool car. and this guy with an sti he's just stupid you can't even talk to him with out wanting to punch him. he tries to talk like he knows everything but when you ask him a small ? like do you have a BOV he's like ya man i've got two and the turbo runs 40 psi. anyways i think you should go with what you want, b/c it's your life!!!!!!!

 

if i had a choice between the 3 i think i would choose the evo. my friend had one and that thing was nice.
