Default "Magic" Clips

I fully expected to be back in my SRT-4 by today but the body shop can't seem to find any clips that evidently hold the rocker panels on. Soooooo, I explained very nicely to them that I was tired of paying $30 a day out of my own pocket to cover the cost of the rental Dodge Ram Quad Cab (my insurance only pays a max of $30 a day for a rental). They agreed to pick up the tab for any rental time that goes beyond the date the car was initially promised to me which was Wednesday. It's back to the gas station tomorrow for some more fuel!

I just got a call from the manager of the body shop......the clips came in late this afternoon and the car IS READY!!!! The bad news is the shop is closed tomorrow, but the manager gave me his cell phone number and when I get off duty at 1400 I'll call him and he'll meet me at the shop, open it, and give me my car. Needless to say, I'm impressed with their customer service!!!

Yup, got it back a few hours ago!!!!!!! It needs a wash to get the pollen off, but they did a good job fixing the damage. To top it off, a guy in a late model camaro wanted to race, so I shut him down right in front of my house. It's good to have it back!!!!!!!

The only thing I didn't like in the Quad Cab Ram was the gas mileage. I was getting around 10 mpg running the A/C. It was a little tough to park in the parking garage at work will all the concrete pillars around. The SRT-4 gives you a better feel for the road thru the steering and suspension. But then, one's made for hauling cargo and the other is made for hauling ***!!!!
