has anyone had any problems with the stock alarm system? last few days my alarm will just go off with out me even touching the alarm key... sometimes it will just make the beeping sound outta no were, and then sometimes it will just go off completly w/o even doin anything... anyone have this problem before, and know what it coul be??

 

thats never happened to me-maybe theres a wiring problem or something??

get a real alarm. that thing doesn't do anything anyway

 

yea i will be soon... i heard bout this new alarm that has a color screen and shows your car and whats going off and whatever...and something new they added was that they have a camera inside your car... im not to surehow it works, but when your alarm goes on, i guess if they pass the camera it will take your picture and be sent to your pager... i think thats crazy lol just thought ide share... thanks tho

I think we (the forum) should develope and market a tear gas alarm system. Voice activated of course, so you don't gas yourself out by accident!!!!!

The stock alarm just disables the ignition. For example if you lock your door with the keyless, and unlock with the key your horn will sound. If you lock your car with the keyless and someone try to start your car the ignition is off, so they can not start your car. So basically if your red light is blinking on the dash than you can not start your car witht the key, unless y ou deactivate it with the remote.
