You haven't pissed-off any Mafia-types lately, have you??

It must be a pretty loud ticking to be heard over the exhaust.

The only "ticking" I've ever heard from mine was as it was sitting in the garage, cooling down after being driven...

You're a brave man to go to those races on S.W. Military!! They can get pretty wild!
I grew up off of S.W. Military near Lackland AFB, just across from the old Security Service, not far from Valley-Hi. It's a totally different neighborhood now, though.

After bouncing around the world for 21 years with the Air Force, I settled back down near the corner of Harry Wurzbach and Eisenhauer Road, near Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills on the N.E. side of town...

Where are you at now?

I haven't heard any ticking from mine yet, thankfully. It only has just over 200 miles on it, but I have been driving with both front windows down and the sunroof open and all I've heard is the exhaust and the turbo.[sm=smiley4.gif]

With all the mods you have on your engine, it may be wise to check and see if everything is still snug and tight...you don't want that "tick" to turn into a "bang"...[sm=smiley23.gif]

If it only made the ticking noise while in motion, I would say it may be a CV joint that is bad, but at an idle it could be any number of things.
