overall the car runs just fine with the 195, it's at the track and when racing that you benefit from the lower temps.

PSI Chick, are you running a fan switch mod as well? Just wondering, since I thought that there would be little benefit from a 180 stat when standing still without it. Running, I am sure that it is beneficial, and on the road course, I am sure it makes a difference, just wondering about the strip and if anything addl. is needed to realize any improvement.

i am not running the fan mod. too much of a chance of me forgetting to turn it on! i'm researching another product that allows the fans to work automatically, but also incorperates a switch for the track to allow the fans to be turned on at will.

That is exactly what I have been looking for. I want it to work as normal, with a bypass that lets me turn it on when I want if the occasion should arise.

its goes right under ya radiator cap. remove the two bolts and there it is.

so radiator fluid getting everywere when installing it wont be a problem then and how much diffeance did it make.
