Default HKS SSBOV Help

Hey all, i have a SSBOV from HKS installed near the intercooler. From what i hear, Sequencial blow off valves are supposed to make like SHHHhhhh SHHHhh SHHH SH Sound. Instead i have a standard SHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Any one have any recommendations on how i can configure to be like it suppose to be.?

I am not sure that the HKS Super is supposed to do that, I thought it was supposed to be a Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Starting of high pitched and fading. I am lookin into buying that one myself with the ATP pressure Pipe. What setup do you have. You can buy different inserts for the HKS super, Either gold or purple the gold being higher pitched and the purple being lower pitched. Sorry about your problems but i think it is going to just have the standard shhhhh. The HKS is supposed to be the best out there, from what I heard. It has no leak issues at all even under lots of pressure.

My boy has the HKS SSQ BOV on his STi-there is something on the BOV itself that you adjust to get the sound that you want-its almost like a screw or something...as for the noise I don't really know what noise you were expecting but it is supposed to just let off a high-pitched sound that fades- a good example of its sound is in the horrible movie 2 Fast 2 Furious-the supra in the beginning has it and during that race you can hear it as clear as day

that screw is the set screw. it doesn't adjust the sound of the bov, that's what the inserts are for. the screw adjusts where the bov goes off at. you want it set to release at 0 idealy, but +1 is good enough.

My HKS SSBOV doesnt have a set screw on the back of it. Is this bad or good or have they just redesigned it?
