Snap-Crackle-Pop- Exhaust Noises?

Ive heard that it depends on the turbo. Different sizes/manufactuers, whether its ball-bearing or not, really key in to how much backpressure it can take, or how much it likes. Some turbos hardly like it at all, others can't get enough. I don't know too much about backpressure and turbos to edumakate on it, but I do know it varies.

lol, "edumakate"
you're funny

Yes yes. Well some cars do snap crackle and pop, but thats the main reason ours do. I've heard Spec-V's with Hayame exhausts snap and pop, though its not the same sound, Morningpride your right, any car can do it.
back pressure is the enemy of hp on turbo cars no back pressure would be best because the turbine section provides all the backpressure it needs to operate properly.
Isn't the popping because our cars run so rich?
Posthonda,
I took my cat out over the weekend. What a difference. The turbo definately spools up quicker. It is insanely loud now, but I like it.

Now, go and have your friends follow you with a video camera at night and WOT the car. You'll like the resulting clip
.
It is a little louder and deeper toned, both get even more so as time goes by. Most gains are not felt, but they make themselves know at the track or against others. It takes a really good improvement to really be felt.
