OK guys i just got home from work and wanted to share this with you, i no i should have put it in the kill zone but this is srt buisness. I was on my way home from work on monday night (tonight) at like 730 and i take the freeway all the way home well im cruising (80mph) down the carpool lane because no one uses it and i get stuck behind a slower car, well as i was waiting to pass it i noticed an older 90 5.0 stang behind me, i have yet to have an open run and i wanna know what kind of bang i got for my buck, bieng a newer owner and all. So i pass this car still in 5th gear and i noticed the stang moved when i did so i florred it, didnt down shift just stayed there and let the boost catch up, as i heard the big v8 behind me do the same, to make a long story short i held infront not giving up an inch at 80-120 before we cought traffic, then the guy pulls up next to me and said "jesus what do you got in that thing, i said not much just a lil turbo" he asked what boost im running i told him 15 because im just stock, he goes " wow thats stock?" i said yup a stock neon just hung with your moded v8. He said nice car and i sped off. Just wanted to share it with you guys, ive never been prouder to own a neon and i no you all feel the same way, i just cant wait to start upgrading so next time i will start the spank machine.

 

alot of people still have no clue.

 

It does feel good. I just had fun with a G35 who had no idea on the way in to work, today. At 90 on the drive, he couldn't believe it when I overtook him. And he was smiling, too. Gave many props at the next onramp.

It's always nice when you get respect. I always give a thumbs up eeven when I get smoked.

 

I have a friend w/ a v6 mustang who told me SRT-4s were slow and his poontang is an automatic 3.8 litr v-6 and i told him he was outta his godddammed mind if he thought he could beat one......when I told him his poontang was lucky to get 180 horses. And he still said he could take one. I told him my car could take his Mustang and when I asked him to race if he didnt believe me he just blew it off, so some dem mustang owners need to be put in their place every now and then. At least you did that.... and if it was a 80s or early 90s mustang gt then you should stomp all over em since they may only have 200 hps max stock.

i won't be able to get one till next year will they still be able to be purchased new at a dealer or will i get stuck getting a used one ?? either way im getting one lol.

also i plan to race my boss's 350z when i get mym srt-4 so i will let you know how that goes down when it happens..

 

Be careful. There are some extremely fast mustangs around. There are a ton of hop ups for them. I have had my *** handed to by an early 90s GT that was all motor. They are very easy to work on if you know what you are doing. I believe PSI Chick has one. I also lost to the new Mustang at the track by a 1/2 of a second.
