Anyone having stg2 idle problems??
Ever since I installed my stg2 w/o toys, the idle has been shakey and it doesnt fire up right away when I cold start it?
I have msd wires, and bought the ngk iridiums gaped at .40 and still a little shakey. My rpms dont move just the vac needle, from like 20 to 21 it fluctuates.

sounds normal to me... i have all the same stuff you do and mine acts the same. i noticed the vac flux as well and was like hey... there is nothing wrong. i dont really notice how hard it is to start on cold mornings since i have a remote start but after i hit the button it takes a few seconds then i hear the exhaust.

Normal for Stage 2. Mine was that way for over 14K. Stage 3 for some reason clears it right up

I have the same issues, too. like the rest of these Kats said its normal. One methos i use, for cold starts, is turn the ignition on and let the fuel pump stop running before cranking. [quote]ORIGINAL: Boosted

dont gap iridiums
^^^I'll have to try that tomorrow, roach.
It took extra long today.
I wonder if s2 being so rich has to do with the condition, like if it "pre-floods" the cylinders, when you turn the car off and has the extra in there when you start in the morning after sitting and having time to degrade overnight.

On gapping Iridiums, it's not reccomended because they are more brittle and fragile due to this. If you are careful, and do it right it's okay. Just don't go tapping it on a counter to reduce the gap like you would with std.
