Sounds Like the infamous "pipe at the bottom of the turbo is loose" syndrome. Make a leak tester and check it. Good to do a leak test, anyway, you might have other small leaks, as well, that don't show up as easily without a tester.
OK, WENT HOME LAST NIGHT AND CHECKED OUT THE EXHAUST. THE FIRST CLAMP ON THE MOPAR EXHAUST HAS THE HOLE IN IT AND IT WASN'T QUITE LINED UP RIGHT, SO I ADJUSTED THAT. I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE THOUGH TO CHECK FOR BOOST LEAKS. SEE, THE CAR IS LOOSING BOOST IN SECOND GEAR AT ABOUT 5000 RPM'S WHICH IT NEVER DID BEFORE. IN 3RD, 4TH AND 5TH IT WON'T LOOSE BOOST. IT HOLDS AT 15 PSI. IN SECOND IT WILL SPIKE AT 15, DROP OFF TO 13-14 AND HOLD TILL ABOUT 5000 RPMS AND THEN DROP TO ABOUT 11. IT USED TO HOLD AT 13-14 THE WHOLE WAY TO REDLINE BEFORE I INSTALLED TO MOPAR EXHAUST.
