new 4 in town
hello everyone
Just purchased my 4 in March and have been reading your post and have learned alot over the last couple months. I'm some what new to the small but unbelievibly fast car sector. Most of my experiance and time over the last 15 years has been off roading, buying and building JEEPS. At 40 I have an itch that needs to be scratched. I hope within the next few months to increase my 4s performance to at least satisfy my thirst for speed and manuverability. A little backstory on my forum name. As some people do my wife and I always name our vehicles. I drove my 4 home 1 day without a name so my wife named it for me. "Oscar" she said, Its orangeblast, and I started to argue the point that a name will come to me soon. A couple of days had passed and I started to generate a new wish list for both my toys (no offense but i still love my Jeeps)and I typed in Awescar for my 4 and so Awescar it is. I look foward to conversing with you soon. Im somewhere south of Georgia!

Welcome to the forum,
I also moved in from the off road sector. My 86 Yoda w/380 thousand miles finally got tired, and it was time for something new.
my wife already had a 01 Neon, so I knew that I wanted a SRT-4.
However, reality punched me in the face when I went for the insurance prices.
Aparrently 29 yearold males in Pa aren't responsable enough to own fast cars, wich makes my insurance outrageous.
So I was forced to settle for the slower, and somewhat les styling little brother, the R/T.
Good luck with your new ride, and remember, your never to old to have fun.

Well well welcome! I still don't understand your other post, but I haven't been here the past few days to see whats up. We are in fact a friendly bunch, but over the weekend, you'll notice the forums slow down quite a bit, whereas during the week we really post way more than we should, since most of us are stuck at work with nothing to do....or something to do that we really don't want to.
My apologies for not welcoming you earlier. But welcome to the party, and dont lurk, post! Everyone's opinion is welcome.
