Default 2 1/2 inch DP

Does anyone make a 2.5 inch catless downpipe besides mopar? I see no reason to put a 3 inch downpipe on if I have a 2.5 inch exhaust. I have a homade catless downpipe on right now. Works fine, but I am looking for something a little better.

I don't know of one either. Theres really no reason for a 3" your correct. Then you'd need a custom adapter pipe made to go from 3"-2.5" which doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense.

Maybe you could have one custom made???

maxxfab has a reducer for his 3" dp to the borla catback that eliminates the bottle neck in the stock system

I just got a 3" catless....but im probably gonna have a custom exhaust made instead of mating it to the stock 2.25" piping

Yes 3" Downpipe without cat, and with or without O2...usually with the O2. Mate that to a connecting pipe that has a 3" inlet and fades to a 2.5" outlet, and weld that puppy up to the 2.5" exhaust (or if stock get a 2.25") and call it a day .

A bit of a power loss in the low end, better gains in the high end (with a 3" and a 2.25 stock exhaust (what I'll have)).
