I would have to be nuts not to have checked around. I have gotten so many damn quotes that I pretty much have just given up and resigned to the fact that that is just what I pay.
Pittsburgh is one thing, and 2000 is pretty high there, from what I have heard, but the Tri-state area, over here is nuts on insurance. I thank my lucky stars that I am a few minutes out of Philly, though, I almost moved downtown a few years ago and when I checked rates, it would have doubled. Philly, New jersey, and NY are just ridiculous on insurance in urban areas. I think NJ is worst in the country (at least it was 10 years ago).
