Be careful with the bragging
Just to let yall know to be carefull what you say on here as far as bragging and certain mods. I understand most of you know that what your doing is going to void your warranty, but i know some of the people at chrysler look at this site and try an catch some of you in a dealer a void your warranty. i work at dealer and i am a mechanic, bu i dont care what ya do. i have friends here in town with 2 srt 4's and i take care of them because they ask for me to work on there car and they know what to leave on it and not when they bring it in. just be carefull. your friend........
Stage 3 roxors my cars warranty !!!!!!!!!!!! Woot!!!!! Woot!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I know of not one case where someones warranty was WRONGFULLY affected by online postings. I do know there have been cases where folks have bragged up their big turbo, or pushing 20psi on the stock turbo, or snapping axles at the track, then they post that they have destroyed the motor/ other bits. Then they post about what bull**** it is that warranty won't cover it
Bragging or not, I'm not very sympathetic to folks who mod, then expect coverage for damage caused by mods.

like is along the same lines of "dealerships send reps to the track to record VINs to void warranties" because track use isnt permitted, and while my dad (who used to be a dodge master tech in the 60-70s) said that this did use to go on, there are just too many people racing in different places for companies to bother.
i have just a "tiny bit "of investigative skills's ,and it's highly unlikely that any one from dodge or any dealer ships are snooping around looking to void some one's warrant y for what they say on a website.first what's said on here is not "beyond a reasonable doubt "proof that they have done what they claim they have done [that is a sworn deposition]and that they really are who they say they are on here.if the "warranty detectives"are any thing like the guys who work at my local dealership ,then this old boy wont be losing any sleep over this issue>honey get me a beer!!!!im sure most of the people who modify their cars with any thing that may void the warranty are smart enough to "put it back to stock"before they pay a visit to the local dealer for warranty work.
seriously, andy is proof that companies couldnt use this forum to void a warranty..unless you took a picture of our car modded, with the vin number clearly shown...which would be impossible..
Damn....then Andy's warranty just got shot out the F'n window right then and there. [:-]
LOL Sometimes DCX surfs the SRTForums site, and a few others, but more often than not just to get info on things going on with the cars. After all, we know 110% more than them 3/4 of the time.

That's right, anyone can come on here and claim anything they want to, it doesn't make any of it true just because they said it. They would have to be bent to try and use forum talk to try and void a warranty. Now if a car and it's plate(s) are clearly shown in a video as it goes down the track and it's on a forum, then that person is pretty screwed, but how often is any posted video clips like that clear enough to get the plate and/or driver clearly enough to do anything with.
