I have an 05 srt4 with the stage 3 and cat back exhaust, I am having a heck of a time launching. I have 18 inch wheels and tires. Sat nite got smoked by a trans am because of launch. Any ideas? Don"t like losing!!!

start from a roll...but I dont see how youd lose to a t/a w/ stage 3...t/a s only do 13.1 in a quarter. You should be in the 12s...try racing from a 20mph roll. Other then that lose the 18s and do 15s w/ drag tires. Practice your launches as well. If you have a practice tree you can help w/ your reaction time too. Best of luck!!

Flutter ya clutch in 1st gear: shift @ 3500k's. Powershift @ 4700-5200 @ second then go for broke all the way home

no need to shift that early. shift at like 5500 on the street, you'll be fine. don't let off the gas either

I had good luck with lowering tire pressure and doing a smokey burn-out before launching. The tires seemed to spin much smoother after a ghood burnout.

the reason i shift in that range, is because i notice that its a little harder to throw to 3rd ranging @ 5500-6000k. Causing miss shift. Maybe its my car... that my sweet spot. Hey, Rhart, if 5500 works then there it is. No Offense, Psi... One
