fastest SRT-4 QM, street legal?
honestly, i dont mind nitrous so much, but i find alot of people who dont know anything about cars will buy a nitrous setup and bolt it on then brag about how fast their car is...for instance, one of the other forums that i belong to, my car is like the 10th fastest, but there is only one car that is faster than me NA...i dont care for people who talk trash about how their car is running a 150 shot and is a tenth faster than i am...
this seems to be prevalent with mustang owners...but what can you expect, right?

does your mustang have nitrous on it, and no other power adding items? have you taken a bone stock mustang, bolted a huge bottle kit on it, and you talk worlds of trash about how fast your car is, until the rings finally give out? i dont think that is the case with you, but if so, then you should be offended.
however, i would think that by now you would have gotten used to my mustang bashing...

well, it is the morons who buy a GT and put cobra rims and a lower lip on it, and buy a NOS kit and all of a sudden they have the fastest car ever....ironically...who else puts rims, body work, and nawwzz into a car and thinks theyre the fastest thing ever? Ricers. coincidence? i think not...
Pardon me, but my generation gap is showing. I hate the term Noss, Nawwzz, whatever. I'm just too old. I mean old school. I just like to say nitrous. Sounds better. ;-)

Yeah actually, I'm quite surprised that there aren't 10 second SRT's already, even a little dissapointed. I know they're on the way though. Here in Michigan, the term "street legal" is often interpreted quite loosely. There are lots of cars running around on cruise nights with huge engines, nos, open exhaust, bare interiors, huge tires, severely lightened bodies all capable of 9+10 (or lower) second quarters. In some arenas, tip toeing right past cops like during the Woodward dream cruise in Detroit or any odd summer weekend in Flint. Cruising and street racing in these places has been a way of life for generations now and the cops are somewhat jaded and used to seeing this stuff. Not that they won't arrest you for illegal parking or racing if they see you. With no emissions testing, about all you got to have is a plate and working lights. Here in Kalamazoo, where I live now, the climate is all together different. No cruises, no street racing, very conservative and very boring. I have been invited by my long time childhood buddies in Flint to come up for a weekend and show some people whats up. They still know the cruise scene there. I can hardly wait. My car is still stage zero though and I know my place. I'm not about to go picking on big block Nova's just yet. I will stick to the more contemporary makes or race the heavies for no money but just exhibition purposes. I may get beat, but I will not be embarassed. My car is almost as fast as my buddies GTO and he does quite well. For now, I'll stick my neck out and say I've got the fastest SRT-4 in Kalamazoo. I can do this mostly because I've only seen one other SRT here and it was as stock as mine. :-) I'll say I'm a better driver as I have a boat load of street and legal dragstrip racing experience. There probably isn't even anyone from Kalamazoo reading this so I'm safe. LOL!

What color is it, I've seen one on 131 near Kalamazoo on my way back up to G.R.? But I would concur, you're probably the fastest in Kalamazoo....I haven't really seen any.

dynoworks car right now is the fastest, 11.1@132mph i think, and someone with a psi-fi turbo kit just ran 11.2@126mph...and there are a bunch of people that are rebuilding their motors and shooting for a low 11 second run...just a matter of time now b4 we see a 10 sec et
