Went to the dealer during lunch. Mopar clutches are on back order, imagine that. Anybody have the phone# for Modern Performance handy?

 

why do you need the number for modern? if you want the mopar clutch, call moparsupercenter, they'll get it in long before modern would

 

Good idea. My dealer just told me they couldn't get any. Super Center didn't have any either but they did point me to a dealer way out in Nebraska that had one. Surprisingly they still let me use the employee discount, so it should be here in a couple of days. Hopefully I'll know by then if I get a new transmission or not.

Yeah Im having tranny issues too. Always been difficult to get it into 3rd, and occasionally I have to skip it and skim to fourth because the shifter refuses to go. However downshifting into third I can SMELL the transmission.....and to me, thats not a good thing.

But right now with all the oil burning and the fact that my "turbo's gone" and my engines "half gone" according to my tarded dealer, Ive got a bigger issue. Apparently too much oil is in the turbo (as they state....Im not sure if its truth). And its "safe to drive, however this will blow your engine in a short amount of time if its been going on for a week or two and getting progessively worse" I give up. I baby the car and have every issue in the world.

So no, your not alone. Someone overhaul mine for me or just get me a damned new one. Trannys stink.....im used to the burning oil smell, but the tranny smell is horrid.

 

Well since we're on the subject. What heavy duty internal parts for upgrade are there? Anyone making anything yet? 4500 miles on my 2004, no probs yet, knock on wood.

 

nothing out yet that i know of, but some are in the works.
