well i know what you mean, but the SRT-4 is the only car that is appealing to my eyes. I hate every other car out there. Subaru are overrated!! my brother owns an Evo 8, and it has crazy turbo lag!! My opinions! Well you are right about the negatives on this car. Maybe its just a few outta the thousands with the problem. Thanks, I cant wait to get my hands on one!! YAY!!![8D]

 

back to the issue @ hand
On my way back home, i was on 2nd gear, when i the car buckled and i heard a Grinding NOISE coming from the Trann for a quick second. I thaught it popped out of gear, but didnt. [sm=wtf.gif] Now!! Is my Tranny gears eating itself???

Weird! Don't wait to get stranded like I did. Get it checked out if it continous.

 

The prob is the dealer wont accept the warranty, cause oof the mods, and the Euro rate is Crazy. Now all i can due is either drop the 850 and examine the gears, will be a 1st handling a tranny, or hope till i get to the states and get it looked at

 

what do you mean they won't "accept" the warranty?

where are you taking it to over there? i don't know how many dealers there are in germany, but some of the other srts over there have had very good luck getting things warrantied. i'll see if i can find out where they are taking their cars.

 

the only place close to me is here http://www.automobile24.de/ and im tired of these fools. These guys are quick too say the whole warranty issue...

Well I got the new clutch no problem but the broken part I need is on National backorder. It seems I can't get just the one piece, I have to get the whole shifter housing assembly. Yes I also called Mopar Super Center and they said 1 dealer had 1 in Purto Rico.

 

I am having similiar problems with my 05. It seems like i have to labor to get it in gear.(14,000 miles)
