Default Help with identifying what stock and whats not

Hey guys. Im somwhat new here, your guys posts and comments have been a ton of help to me. I bought my 04 srt about two months ago and the whole time ive been trying to get the dealer to inform me on whats stock and whats not. They said they will contact the seller to find out. Well ive been bugging and bugging them to no avail. So Im taking it into my own hands. I plan on posting pics of my engine here in hopes you guys can help identify whats what. I know my air intake and oil catch can are not stock but thats about it.

Thank you guys so much
Kolin

Well, let me relate some of the stock parts that should be on your ride. Stock srt4 rims( silver color 17" rims), stock coils and springs( should have tags on it stating srt, should not have an aftermarket coilovers), should have stock ECU( no stages written on it, found on the driverside, by the radiator), stock 2.25 exhaust with dual chrome tips(center piece should have 2 resonators), stock boost gauge with srt4 written inside(there should be no other gauges except for the panel), check to see if it has stock intercooler, no aftermarket stereo(should have a radio;cd system( some came with kicker packages with 10" subwoofer in the trunk, should have original shifter w/ silver ****, steering wheel should be stock w/ ram logo in the center, turbo and wastegate should also be stock. You can also check with modern performance to see what else is supposed to be stock. Keep your OCC, that one is a must! Have fun!

If you want pics from diffrent things or angles let me know ill do my best. I was wondering if any of you might know what that red hose is for. The guys at the dealer had no idea. said it wasn't for anything and to just leave it. safe to say im not impressed with the guys from the dealership.

The last pic i was changing my oil and my puppy jumped up lol, had to add it.

thanks again guys

Judging from the pictures: Wastegate is not stock, the blue can on the driverside is not stock( it's either a OCC or the one for the PVC valve(looks more like OCC but sitting on the driverside), strut tower is not stock, blue spark wires are not stock, upper radiator bracket that says mopar is not stock. Thats all I can see from here, other than your air intake from AEM. Have you checked your ECU to see if it has a stage? looks like you have a nice ride..black srt4's are always so cool to see.

It is located on the front driverside of the vehicle. Right by the radiator, right by where your blue OCC is sitting at. I need to take a pix of my ride and put it on this forum too. Just never had the time to do that. Any other questions, just shoot it over.

I found the ECU. I think its stock. No stage badges, and there is a sticker on it with s/n and what not that says daimler chrysler on it.

So, it's probably stock, somtimes whose that modify srt4s wihout the stages will turn on the check engine light. All depends on what kind mod is being changed, but in your case looks like your alright. I got mines when it had 27,000 mi on it to this day it has over 70,000 miles. The only thing that went out on me was the fuel pump and got it fixed when it was still warranted. Other than that, it's been running great and hardly had any problems. Another thing, if it ever surges when boosting, it might be due to the spark plugs or plug wires, just change them out or it could be a vacuum line that got disconnected. Glad you re enjoying your ride, laterz.......
