whats wrong with the stock tires?
Unless you drive like NASCAR's Mark Martin or Tony Stewart, the stock tires work fine. In the rain or snow (what's that?) you need to be lighter on the pedal, just like any car/truck. Use common sense, save your money by not buying needless upgraded tires and remember SOMEBODY will ALWAYS be trying to sell you something "better".......

The 205's were just the wrong tire to put on this car. It should have come from the factory with at least 215's, 225's would have been better. And those 6" wide wheels are a joke. Should have been 17x7's from the factory.
well just like mikey i too have the acr edition and man i tried everything. im also new to the racing scene and i just dont get by wat they mean when they "feather the clutch?" i had a 4 wheel drive before and i dont know how to launch this car for shyt! ive tried lowering the pressure got the motor mount inserts...sigh dammit i just dont know wat to do.
Stock tires are good in both wet and dry conditions. Although, as stated above they suck in the snow... then again they arent even rated for winter driving. I drove my srt twice in the snow this past winter, thats all the more experience i needed. The first time was just to see how it drove in snow, second time I got stuck at work a little late while it was snowing. I already have replacements of the stock tires. About 12k miles already on the origional tires and 2 are about ready for replacement.
Sidebar: the stock tires on the other neons, such as my sxt, suck. They are ok, but thats about it. I recommend the BFGoodrich Traction T/A for 185/60/15 only becuase the donlop sport A2s arent available in this size (185/65/14) which I have also owned. The A2s are a great value at about 50/tire.

Heck, just a light drizzle of rain makes for some white-knuckle driving sometimes.........

They handle great, I just wish they were wider.[&o]
