LOL, you dont know how my wife drives... Im not trying to be rude, its just Plain funny.
I mean seriously, one time she took my car out of the garage and while backing up she ripped off the sideview mirrior and scrapped up the entire side of the car! LOL All you can do is laugh about it.

Using a little more paitence can avoid alot of problems when driving for some.

My g/f's father is like your wife, his A6 4.2 and his lexus both have had the mirror replaced, and many a scratch down the right side. He is amazing. Funny thing is - he has no idea.

 

I am definitely on it, Amanda. I have heard the horror stories about progressive, and hopefully, "cheaper" carbon parts will actually make the job cheaper. I just hope they don't start trying to put non- oem stuff in there. Luckily, my mech. won't let them. He does our racecars adn is very good so I am hopeful.

well, a friend of mine had a guy over installing a fence, in the middle of the day. this guy was driving a jacked up F350, and he backed into the driveway. he was about 8 car lengths from my friends GFs tibby. she got in, in broad daylight...and backed directly into the truck...in a two car width driveway. she hit it so hard the the tailgate went through the back glass, ruining the hatch and the glass...the bumper hit the back of the car, wrecking the tail lights...

all in broad day light, and when she walked to her car, she was facing the truck...

post, you have a reason to have not seen the pole...at least it wasnt an F350 parked in your empty driveway...

 

Yanno, the damage to that Neon is even more extensive then when my grandparents got hit by a semi in their Buick Regal.......that's just plain crazy!!!!! You are right though, sometimes its all about where you hit the car. When I was 17, I was in a car accident, got hit on the driver side wheel = 3,000 for new parts. It didn't look like much.... EWWW @ Progressive...... makes me glad I've got Indiana Farmers Mutual.....
