Stock: Production release, as in released with model. EG: Standard options!

So lets take the SRT-4 for instance here. The Turbo is Standard on the car, turbo is not an option! The neon sxt, es etc.. is like a lower model/generation.

Aftermarket: Eg: buying a Neon SXT, and slapping a SRT-4 Turbo set up on it! Thats not stock EVEN though its using Dodge's stock parts. Thus adding mods to the car with out it being made like it! Even though it's a Dodge setup, and PPL might argue, but it still needs tuning! Yes i have gotten flamed for it but, you still have to balance out the air, fuel ratio and all that other crap! Anyway i am rambling!!

Now, If you are going to compare N/A and F/I on these FWD or AWD cars its not really all that great. Take the Evo 8, if you did you research (which my bro owns one) its just a DSM motor in there, WITH a bigger turbo and intercooler. Thus making it more powerful.
STI: it has a regular WRX motor, but boosted.

What are you getting at?

The question has been fielded by a few of us, and unanimously, we have agreed that we can't find one that can beat the srt-4.

Why do you have to constantly drop "f bombs" and front the tough e-thug attitude? Some here are taking your question seriously, and you aren't responding to any of that, just to what one person has to say(and they are entitled to their own, I don't care if it is right or wrong in my mind).

You have some good idea's and interesting thoughts, but through your delivery, I think you are undermining yourself.

If you disagree and think there are, what are they? If you are really concerned with finding out I am sure the answer is as simple as a google search, there are all kinds of lists on there. You just have to be creative to find them, and keep looking.

Your question is a good one that I'm sure most here have wondered about at one time or another, but has been answered many times over as everyone that has checked into it have came up with the same results, the SRT-4 seems to be the quickest and fastest FWD car built to date. A good deal of the activity here has been to help clear up someone elses incorrect information and definitions as to what stock exactly is, but throughout all of it your question has been answered time and time again. He brought up questions and concerns that were relevant to your topic and helped to determine what does and does not qualify as being a stock FWD for those that may be misinformed as to what is.

i can't find any info on the cosworth, which i find really strange. i found a few spec pages, but there were no numbers listed? the only site that i could find that had any info was only about the new 2006 version, and that one is speculated to be awd.
