question front wheel drive!
Hahaha, yanno, I just realized something. The few SRT-4's I've personally been in, have all been the ACR editions. These cars have been modified. My deepest apologies. I test drove one a week after I bought my Stratus R/T. It had all kinds of extras on it, including aftermarket racing seats. Sorry for the confusion. All the SRT-4's I see on the streets I assumed were the same.

I will however say this, how is a car stock, when it has some aftermarket parts put into the vehicle? Like I said, its just my own personal opinion.

i guess i'm confused as to what you're talking about. just because a car comes from the factory with "extra" parts per sae (meaning parts other than what comes on the base model) doesn't mean that it's not stock. it's stock for that trim level. using your logic than anything that's not a bone stock base model with a manual and manual windows and door locks is not stock. doesn't make a whole lot of sense. the srt-4 can be considered a trim level for the neon, just like the evo is for the lancer or the wrx is for the impreza.
i think you are misusing the term "stock" and are really looking for another term. i'm not really sure what that term is, but stock isn't what you're talking about.
edit: just read your post about the acr. again, the acr is a stock trim of the srt-4. there are not aftermarket parts on them, but come from the factory that way. it's an option package. the seats are the standard viper-inspired seats, just with harness cut outs included. the suspension is mopar parts, not aftermarket. nothing aftermarket is on the car.

every car offers various levels of production and each level usually carries some different packages if a car rolls of the assembly line and is sold on multi thousand units than it ould be considered stock even if it was turbo'd or super'd or natural.
