I have an '05 anything I should keep my eyes and ears open for in the way of problems? It's kinda scary to hear that your year SRT is not a top performer ya know? Also I dont think they've released Staged Upgrade PCMs for the 05 year yet have they?

yes, all the stage upgrades have been out for the 05's for months. give jeff at mpsc a call and he'll take care of you on them.
the 05's have had the most issues, and no one is really sure why. they had a batch with bent valvles, 3rd gear seems to just all around suck, they don't seem to respond to modifications as well as the other years. but the question as to why this is the case is still up in the air. i think once the full standalones are out this can easily be taken care of though.

The speed limiter is on all the year models of the SRT... it conks the engine out at from what I've read at 148 MPH, but the new ECU from the Stage upgrades takes care of that I do believe...correct me if I'm wrong.

I've never found an 04 with a speed limiter. I had mine pulling up to and past 155 on a flat empty road before I had to start slowing. Maybe a few of us just had fluke cars.

All three years share the same limiter, meaning none. Theres been tons of proof. Videos, GPS, its all been done. No limiter.
And Stage kits from 03/04 kits will light a CEL if installed on an 05, but since Stage kits for 05s have been released, its not an issue.
