mpg
I'm getting 16.5 average on a tank of gas! Kinda a mixture of city and highway. Iv'e drove on the highway and have gotten 24 miles. some of all your numbers seem so far off I wonder, whats going on!!! Could you guy's get 25 MPG out of a VIPER if so your'e insane!!! performance is directly related to fuel cunsumption!! you will not get twice the milage with half the cunsumption!!!!! of fuel, sorry it is the way it is!!! can not believe you guy's are so thick!!!!!!
Mileage? My wife has no clue... and, she drives her orange '05 stock SRT-4 like a nut! Nearly every afternoon, she will race - and beat - the same red Mustang - you'd think he'd quit. I convinced her to log her gas useage - it looks like 19mpg was the worst, 27+ the best - most tanks average 24-25 mpg on Exxon premium (Hey, if it's good enough for the Alaskan coastline, it's good enough for my cars!). No trips thus far - they've all been in my '05 Jeep Liberty, which has the aerodynamic slickness of a cinder block - but is a great deal more quiet as well as roomier. The 'Kicker' in her SRT-4 is required to permit you to hear the radio's bass over the exhaust. The Liberty averaged 19.1mpg for the first 12k miles with Exxon regular.
Oh - my hopped up '90 Shadow ES 2.5L Turbo I 5sp (MOPAR performance computer, wires, K&N, and +40% injectors) regularly got 33 mpg on the road, 27 mpg around town - post goodies (It got 31 mpg on the road before!). That was a 'keeper'... sold it after 14.5yr and ~180k miles (speedo was dead for the last seven years!). I hope this SRT-4 lasts as long...
