any body else get it installed besides me? after the install it added quite a bit more handling, and more confidence in me handling my bad ***"street fighter" on the corners. torque steer has considerably gone down quite a bit as well. a friend told me," remember ricers want to improve speed, real racers want to improve performance." speed, handling, braking, heck....i'm preaching to the choir. okay i'll shut up. anybody revisit their brakes yet?
c'mon anybody thinking of going all the way to stage 3 is gotta be thinking of brakes.
the braking of the srt-4, was the security blanket that got me over my fear to opening my srt-4 up. though impressive, 11" up front and 10.6 in the back is plenty for stock and stage 1, but i'm thinking more that one piston per caliper would be better. bigger hp/torque= bigger security blanket (brakes).

i dunno. i'm really trying to keep the cosmetic stuff at a bare minium.
but i haven't seen any body kits that will improve down force, or in respect to your question, air to the brakes. i'll just sit back and wait for the aftermarket boys/girls think up and produce more stuff for our srt-4's. there's a lot of carbon fiber items though.

The wheels are open enough that they should be running about as cool as they will ever get. Get some nice slotted rotors, that will help the braking and they will keep cooler.[sm=smiley20.gif]
I saw a poster of a super tricked-out SRT-4 on Ebay a few weeks ago. It had custom wheels, deeper fender wells, a more pronounced wing and some lower body work for ground effects with openings for the airflow to the brakes. Couldn't tell if he had the stock brakes set-up or not. [sm=smiley5.gif]

I never did get around to it, but I was going to swap out the stock rotors with the Power Slot rotors. I never did decide on what set of pads I wanted, I just wanted a good set with a high metal content(the darker the pad the more there is).
