I FINALLY got around to finishing my bumper. And while I was at it took a stab at a "design" for lack of a better word on my hood. Ive seen it done before, only slightly different with a color trim line along the entire bottom of the hood, and Ive never seen the scoop itself done. The car itself is filthy, been raining here, so the only "clean" things are the hood and bumper, thats why it doesnt "match" Ill take better pix once everything clears up around here and I can get him washed.

Looks nice. I like how you edged it and painted inside the "scoop" area. BTW, I count about 337 fewer bug guts on the front of yours than what I have on mine. In my defense, I have taken 2 long distance road trips in the last 2 weekends that both included elevated speeds & night driving and I do live in Mich. (that alone should be enough). I'm lucky it's not deer or racoon guts.

Mini eat your heart out. It has a similar look to the mini cooper s - very professional. You could continue it to the roof and rear decklid, it would flow well, and you could go a lot of ways with it.

 

Yeah Im still thinking, my decklid needs to be re-done because last winter my brother wanted to do me a favor and take the snow off my car.....with a snowbrush! [:@] Its okay though, I can re-do it myself so its not that big of an issue. If I can find some sun today Ill take some better pictures....cause I havent seen it in the damned sun yet either! [>:] Stupid storm.

how hard was the scoop to do

 

The scoop was a bitch to tape off. And really hard to get the points to line up evenly on either side. I managed though, and everything turned out okay. Its still rainy here and we're supposed to get some sort of storm tomorrow so I doubt Ill have decent pictures until Monday [>:]

Oh thats right, you'd need two hoods for each cheek. GOTCH YA!!!!!!!!!
