To whom it may concern:
I have spent hours reading back through some of the threads on here the past few days, and I hate mentioning names, because of fear of leaving someone out, but from what I have read, people such as lil spark plug, posthonda, psichick, pressurecooker, 71roadrunner...and several others.....you people do a great job of answering questions on here. No matter what the questions are that people ask, you all take your time and really work to answer dilligently to their needs. I have spent a lot of time on the "other" site, and I would be terrified of asking something stupid over there for fear of being fried, but you guys handle everything asked on here with class. I know that you have answered probably the same questions a million times and over, but you don't let it bother you. Instead of dampening the enthusiasm with people who just bought a car and ask innocent, possibly redundant question, you build their excitement instead of berating them for their naivety. I will, over the next few weeks, probably ask many questions in an effort to learn more about my car, and it is nice to know that you all will address mine, like everyone elses questions, with both dignity and grace. You do a great job!
thanks!
we're here as enthusiats, and we all started out not knowing anything! people helped us out, and we now try to do the same for others. i'm glad that you find this site more friendly than srtforums, it's a lot smaller and more intimate i think. people have more patience here, and we get to know each other a little better. i hope that we can help you when you need it!

idk if this is the place to put it but ive helped a few people via pm and im not going to name names on this one but i got a question "where is the fill cap to put more water in the intercooler" we then had a long discussion about cars.
I no when I bought our srt 4 it was mainy for the wife I spoke to psi chick in detail about the car and the info was great and just all the help on the site is awesome so thanks for all your help, knowledge, and experience
wordslayer could not have said it any better i am new here and i usually go to another forum and i wont say the name of it where there is nothing but sarcasm and somewhat ridacule for asking questions that might have already been asked in the past. The people on this sight dont seem to me to be high and might thinking that every question is redundant and over asked so thank you to all the help here @dodge forum
Well you are most welcome! Just so you know who you are talking to here. I am almost as new as you here. I have just over 8k on my srt now. So I am still learning too. These people have been just great and I feel the same as you. I'm among the elders in age I would guess at 40, and am a career mechanic. Though I have 2 years vocational training in automobiles, I have never really worked as an "auto" mechanic but rather have approx. 18 years in aviation, 2 years motorcycles, 1 year marine and am currently employed as a heavy duty deisel truck mechanic since aviation is the fickle industry that it is. (I'dmuchratherbeworkingonplanesagainthankyouverymu chbutohwell) I am, above all that, a motorhead and have been a Mopar fanatic as long as I can remember. Probably since my dad let me sit on his lap and drive the 1964 Chrysler New Yorker we had. That car was soooo cool. 413 4bbl, pushbutton trans, champaign beige with the coffin shaped tail lights. Oh yeah! Always been a Mopar guy. Walter P. & Me! Grew up in Flint, Mi. so I was doomed to have cars in my blood. It was hard to be a Mopar fan there though being an all GM town. All my buddys are Pontiac, Buick & Chevy nuts. I've done some drag racing (amateur only). Some car, mostly motorcycle. Went to the track for the first time in about 10 years about a month ago to baseline my car. Kind of like a second childhood for me. :-D

I recently bought a Legacy GT for my wife. I went on some Subie forums and soon realized what you stated. This forum has the best, most knowledgable, funniest people on it. ........I love you guys!(and ladies) There, I said it. Awwwww!
