Turbo Surge!!!
Ok I have had some turbo surging (flutter), Now last night I was leaving a toll booth plaza and was WOT in second and at WOT I had turbo flutter WTF? Anyone have any insite on this problem. My under the hood mods are Stage1, Mopar BOV, MSD's, Denso's, $20 occ and a Iceman CAI. Please help!

Alot of people complain of that, the CAI amplifies the sound. As long as no check engine light is on, and the power seems the same, don't worry about it. Remember, the BOV is releasing the boost from the intercooler piping, the sound/noise has to go somewhere. PSI chick, Roadrunner, or GLHS may be able to better explain.

Its something you hear. Its a very quick fluttering sound. Mine never used to do it before but ahs been doing it alot lately. I have a significant loss of power, so I see. RIPSI doesnt. And theres a few other things wrong with my car. But that noise is entirely normal. If I were in a good state of mind right now I could explain it to you the way he did to me that day and everything would all make sense, but Im not...so I wont even bother.

so if i'm reading this correctly, you're getting flutter when you let off the gas, correct? hearing flutter at that time is normal. if you are hearing flutter at full wot when the gas is down, then there's a problem.
